Webcam
Recommended webcams for optimal performance:
Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF | Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 | Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 WebCam | Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 (PC and Mac Compatible) | Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision
Or use a camcorder for best quality stream:
Sony DCR-HC36 Mini DV Digital Handy cam Camcorder with 20x Optical Zoom
Majority of models are using camcorders. Camcorders provide the best possible image and at a very high resolution image. This translates to better quality for our members and more income for our models. Cameras with zoom remote control enable the models to allow members a closer look. Any camcorder will work, some examples are listed below if the camera is digital you can use the fire wire input on the new software only. Otherwise you will need a video capture card.
A VIDEO CARD allows for streaming with a camcorder on your computer. We highly recommend the Osprey 100. You can find other VIDEO CARDS on Amazon or your local computer store. (Or do a Google search for Video Cards). You will be able to connect your camcorder with this devise instead of using a webcam. A video card basically provides the port which allows you to connect to your camcorder; as you would connect a VCR or TV. The computer currently does not have the necessary plug in devices to access a camcorder and a VIDEO CARDS simply allows it to plug and play into your computer.
You can have any CompUSA or Geek Squad come to your home to install this device for you, if you do not know how to install, but is very easy to do.
High Speed Internet Connection
For the fastest connection speed possible, we highly recommend Verizon Foist. You can contact them here: http://www22.verizon.com/content/ConsumerFios to check if they offer this service in your area.Computer
PC Requirements: A top of the line computer is not needed to be a model for Scores Live. Any newer model PC with a processor speed of 1 GHZ, 256 mb RAM (minimum), a video card that's not ten 8 years old will suffice to operate the system. Another requirement is that the computer is stable. Simply meaning that it won't crash or reboot suddenly, or often.
